Inside Fukushima Daiichi a Planetary Time Bomb Awaits

A horrific danger to the plant lurks within the now crippled Japanese reactor system at Daiichi. They collected and piled up spent fuel rods for decades. Now all together they form a planetary time bomb unless separated. Already crippled with seismic damage it will only take loss of water in the tank or one minor earthquake to plunge the area into a nuclear furnace that will burn for fifty years and decimate the planet. Half of Japan including all of Tokyo would be completely lost.

He stressed that the responsibility of Japan to the rest of the world is immeasurable. Such a catastrophe would affect us all for centuries. Ambassador Murata informed us that the total numbers of the spent fuel rods at the Fukushima Daiichi site excluding the rods in the pressure vessel is 11,421.

One of the horrific parts of this design is the storage water tank for the used cores is on the second and third floors of the building. One crack could leak out the containment water. The dangerous MOX plutonium fuel could re-ignite. It wouldn’t be an atomic bomb but it would reach extreme temperatures lighting the whole complex in a nuclear fire. The radiation would quickly be taken up into the air and deposited across Tokyo and California four days later. In this event, 20 million people would die instantly with hundreds of millions dying slow deaths from cancer or radiation poisoning. The nation of japan would practically cease to exist.
Already infants are dying in Philadelphia at increased rates.

This video tour shows the continued damage and destruction

As this video shows, the country most hit by the radiation would be the USA.
